LISTY FILOLOGICKÉ - FOLIA PHILOLOGICA

Scholarly journal for classical, medieval and neo-Latin studies founded in 1874, published by the Institute for Classical Studies of the Academy of Sciences of the Czech Republic, leading journal in its field in the Czech Republic.

The Journal Listy filologické (LF) is devoted to classical studies and classical tradition in mediaeval and early modern Central Europe (linguistics - literature - cultural history - philosophy, etc.) and also to the history of Czech language and literature. No particular area of this entire spectrum or methodology is preferred. The journal also brings up-to-date reviews of foreign as well as Czech scholarly literature. The journal accepts submissions in Czech, Slovak, English, French, German, Italian and Latin language (please note that the journal can not provide a language revision of the submissions not written in Czech); all contributions are being anonymously sent for peer-review to the two referees. The journal Listy filologické is being published two times a year (two double issues). The exclusive owner of the distribution rights who also accepts all the purchase (exchange) orders is the Institute for Classical Studies (please contact the redaction; the back-volumes are also available for purchase).
