6/4 2011: The editorial board of Listy filologicke has approved following changes concerning the texts submitted for publication: the redaction will not accept neither for peer review, nor for publication the contributions only summarizing the extant research on the subject, without carrying out the own analysis and / or interpretation. The authors are encouraged to submitt only essays with original scholarship. The maximum length of a study should be 40 pages (1 page = 1800 characters with spaces); the length of editions should be 30 pages maximum; the length of Miscellanea (containing original research) 5 pages maximum; discussions should be 10 pages maximum.

24/2 2010: On a Digital Library of Czech Academy of Sciences web page are available digitalized volumes of Listy filologické from 1874 to 1993! Volumes 1874-1877 can be viewed here, 1888-1993 here. Access to volumes1874-1889 is available for all users but it is necessary to install the LizzardTech plug-in which can bee downloaded here (second link). To view all other issues you have to visit the Czech Academy of Sciences Libraries.
13/1 2010: Another nine issues of LF added to the Archive of full-issues.
4/1 2010: A new page was created "Archive of full-issues" where you can find some old issues of Listy filologické (found via Google Books) in pdf file.
10/12 2009: Listy filologické 132, 3-4, 2009 is out! Content added as well as English summaries and two selected full texts.
7/12 2009: Listy filologické would like to encourage other journals, universities and libraries to send us exchange orders for their journals or journals which are related to the subject matter of Listy filologicke. We welcome all proposals!

23/ 02 2009: Listy filologické was included into international scientific citation databse SCOPUS.

14/ 11 2008: Listy filologické was included into another citation database: beginning with the volume 130, 2007 this journal is indexed and abstracted in "Arts and Humanities Citation Index" of Thomson Reuters (ISI Web of Knowledge).
6/11 2008: The double issue 1-2, 2008 is out. Content added as well as summaries of the articles and two selected full texts. After many years, Listy filologicke has completely new graphic design and cover by Markéta Jelenová.
19/5 2008: The doubleissue 1-2, 2008 is in composition. Preliminary content added.
21/4 2008: The double-issue 3-4, 130, 2007 was published; content added; English summaries of the articles added. Three selected articles from this issue added into the full-texts section.
12/2 2008: Newly established Czech Patristic Society launched its web site; it offers invitations to conferences, useful links, annotations and reviews.
2/1 2008: Double issue 3-4, 2007 jis in composition; Listy filologické started collaboration with international full-text database EBSCO; Listy filologické are also indexed in following scholarly databases: ERIH (European Reference Index for the Humanities), IBZ (International Bibliography of Periodical Literature in the Humanities and Social Sciences) and IBR (International Bibliography of Book Reviews of Scholarly Literature in the Humanities and Social Sciences).
4/10 2007: The double-issue 1-2, 130, 2007 was published; content added; the English summaries of the articles added as well. New page with selected full-texts from each issue (from 2007 onwards) added.
7/6 2007: The first doble issue of LF (1,2,2007) is in composition. It should appear in the autumn.
29/3 2007: The International Conference on the Ancient Novel – ICAN IV will be held in Lisbon from 21 to 26 July 2008, in Fundação Calouste Gulbenkian. For the conference details, see this webpage.
7/3 2007: Actualization of the section "History of LF" - portraits of the Czech linguists J. Gebauer, J. Hrabák, O. Hujer, V. Machek and F. Vlček added.
With the volume 2007 onwards, Listy filologické will publish the summaries of the articles also in the internet Journal The Central European Journal of Social Sciences and Humanities (CEJSH) seated in Warsaw.
22/2 2007: Actualization of the section "History of LF" - portraits of the Czech classicists F. Groh, O. Jiráni, J. Král, J. Kvíčala, J. Niederle and B. Ryba added.
19/2 2007: The double-issue 3-4, 129, 2006 was published; content added.
14/2 2007: Actualization of the section "History of LF" - full-text articles of J. Daňhelka, K. Janáček, L. Řezníková and M. Svatoš concerning the history of Folia philologica and Association of Classical Philologists (JKF) added.
